Malawi: car breakdown


There is a parcel with new cameras at Chileka Airport, with a whopping 38 410 kwachas import duty on it. No single customs officer blinked an eye when I crossed borders with my first parcel. Why should I pay duty for an amount far exceeding the actual value, about 150 pounds?
